Deborah MacDonald
Deborah was born and raised on a cattle ranch in Alberta
where she learned about the family business and developed
her strong work ethic, business principles, and tolerance
for risk. At the age of 24, she applied her entrepreneurial
skills by owning and operating a retail franchise located
in West Edmonton Mall. To further expand her business
knowledge, she joined the corporate world, as an Education
Executive for Estee Lauder Canada. When an opportunity
arose to live in Italy, she took the chance to enjoy
the culture of the Mediterranean and has never looked
back. On her return to Canada, she immediately began
developing her own network business within the JDMACGROUP
of partners and today, she operates three successful
enterprises in areas of wellness, real estate and HR
consulting. Married with two children, Deborah enjoys
the thrill of building new businesses, creating dynamic,
successful teams, and mentoring individuals to help
them achieve their goals in life.
Sarah Jane Meharg, Ph.D.
Dr. Sarah Jane Meharg is a born entrepreneur. After
joining Nikken in 2005, she has thoroughly benefited
from her commitment to health, well being and financial
freedom. Dr. Meharg is the Senior Research Associate
at the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre and Adjunct Professor
at the Royal Military College of Canada. She is associated
with a number of study center and think tanks and is
recognized as a leading post-conflict reconstruction
theorist.
John Meharg
John Meharg is a former member of the Canadian Forces
and a network engineer. A dynamic self-starter, John
created the Ottawa Junior Chamber International chapter
in 2005 and is an active entrepreneur. He joined the
Nikken team with his wife in 2005 and has enjoyed the
high-tech educational aspects of the company ever since.
Working in the culture and economic development area,
John focuses on bringing Nikken to rural communities
across Ontario as well as to the international humanitarian
development marketplace.
